Crafting everyday health from scratch
Welcome to Treasured Craft Kitchen!
I’m Michelle, just a regular home cook, where I share my journey of transforming everyday foods into homemade versions using simple ingredients, traditional techniques, and a little bit of curiosity.
I believe that cooking from scratch doesn’t have to mean making everything the hard way. It means understanding what goes into your food, learning the skills to create it yourself, and discovering that many of the things we buy at the store can be made better at home.
Don’t buy it. MAKE IT.
One of my favorite things to do is recreate the foods we normally reach for at the grocery store.
From homemade deli meats and pantry staples to breads, sauces, preserved foods, and meal prep recipes, I love breaking down the ingredients, techniques, and processes behind the foods we already know and love.
My goal isn’t to make cooking complicated. It’s to show that with the right methods, anyone can create high-quality food at home.
Why Treasured Craft Kitchen?
Cooking has always been about more than just following a recipe. It’s about craftsmanship, creativity, and building confidence of self sustainability in the kitchen.
Here you’ll find recipes focused on:
- Homemade pantry staples
- From-scratch cooking
- Food preservation and canning
- Dehydrating and reducing food waste
- Practical meal preparation
- Kitchen skills that save money and improve quality
I genuinely believe food made at home can be healthier, more intentional, and often more satisfying than the store-bought alternative.
My Approach
I combine old-fashioned techniques with modern tools to make homemade cooking more approachable.
Whether it’s using a sous vide to create perfectly sliceable deli meat, dehydrating ingredients that might otherwise go to waste, or preserving seasonal foods for the pantry, I love finding smarter ways to cook.
Every recipe is created with the goal of helping you learn something new and giving you the confidence to make it yourself.
